Executive summary
CARDHIN develops an operational prototype in a relevant scenario of an inductive dynamic charging system for electric heavy vehicles. The project investigates novel technologies in the areas of inductive charging, pavement materials, synchronism in communications, energy management, and renewable H2. CARDHIN demonstrates the technical viability of inductive dynamic recharging of heavy vehicles, the efficiency of the energy transfer, the resiliency of the solution, and the decarbonization of transport based on the use of renewable energies and hydrogen.
