Executive summary

ACOPIA creates smart algorithms to characterize, predict, and optimize the environmental impact in ports. To this end, we have deployed air pollution sensors and sonometers to provide our intelligent modules with real data to (1) automate the characterization of the operation using artificial vision, (2) feed classifiers to predict future values of the national pollution index, and (3) create expert systems to optimize the environmental measures to be taken to minimize the impact.
